Yes — in a way. But at the same time dark mode doesn’t really modify the global elements. It has it’s own distinct style, but it’s very close to the light-mode, only somewhat inverted.

There may be mixes of dark and light mode in one app at some point too. We’ll keep trying to find the new style for the next few years.
