Won't happen.

1. Big tech won't let it.

2. Governments won't let it (especially seeing how much control they exert on daily lives now - esp. where you're at Tim)

3. With the upcoming bear market most people will exit crypto (again) for years until it picks up again. That will lead to creators feeling cheated out of their hard earned NFT money when it loses 90% of the value - and most people live in the now - they will get discouraged.

It will be a thing on a small scale, with some interesting projects surviving this, but decentralized and free is not what people ruling the world have in mind.
