UI is very far from „art” and not that hard to learn actually. I strongly believe in unicorns and I know at least a couple of them in Poland alone. Plus a lot of the research methods are becoming slowly automated now.

Just learn UI design, it’s fun! And it’s really just „moving rectangles around”.
