The app MKBHD should’ve made
How relevancy is essential for a successful brand
The internet is full of negativity. It’s easy to point fingers and express dissatisfaction. In this recent internet drama I took a different path and decided to be constructive.
I quickly mocked up the app MKBHD should’ve made, instead of the one he did. The whole process took 15 minutes of design. Idea generation took under 5 minutes.
Yes, I’m aware it’s unsolicited work, but it’s also a good learning exercise to my community so I decided to do it for that reason.
Lowest hanging fruit
It’s odd how rarily logic is used in some of these cases. Many creators jump to the lowest hanging fruit instead of something that would truly benefit their community.
The context
Marques Brownlee, also known as MKBHD is one of the most popular tech YouTubers in the world. With an audience of millions, he is known to make or break brands with a negative review.
Think Anton Ego from Ratatouille, but much nicer.
