Sorry but the recent years have shown information architecture to slowly become redundant instead. UI is currently the biggest differentiator of digital products because we already have all the IA patterns established so there’s often no need to even do low-fidelity flows - just copy the good patterns and dress them up in good UI.

I believe non visual designers will be in trouble, as AI / automation / design systems only work well for boring / generic stuff :)
