My thoughts exactly. Aesthetics are often overlooked or skipped, especially for MVP’s and yet that’s the one area where it’s even more important to make a good impression than when you’re an ubiquitous corporation.
Humans like “nice things” — it’s been like that for thousands of years. If two products have the rough functionality we need, we always choose the nicer looking one.
We should start focusing on visuals a bit more, as there’s a gap between “impossible to make / bad ux but pretty dribbble shots and reality which is often the exact opposite to that).
