Great article! This is something I’m also trying to communicate nearly in every story I do. The link between usability and aesthetic is actually a more complex web of connections. Things that are proportional, whitespace, contrasts — those affect both the aesthetics and usability.
And there’s a lot of that unmeasurable “wow effect” of using a beautiful product (think Apple back in the early 2000’s) that also enhances the experience by building trust.
