Don’t fix EVERTHING at once.
Improve your UI in stages. Here’s how.
Giving feedback on UI is hard. And if you give a lot of feedback, it often gets lost in the noise and not all of it is ever implemented anyway.
I did a Twitter experiment a while ago, when I was just giving three short pointers to people posting their UI’s. In most cases I focused on layout and hierarchy as these things should almost always be corrected first.
Let’s explore a couple of the examples.
Example 1
1️⃣ The label should be closer to the data
2️⃣ Try to maybe distinguish the price a bit with color + the description text is a little too bright
3️⃣ The border of this button may be a little too dark, and the line is too thin compared to the icon stroke
Example 2
1️⃣ This icon is optically smaller and hard to see it’s selected
