Agreed. It would be more logical that way. The point here is that maybe that rabbit hole is justified — even if being able to have someone else’s profile INISIDE your profile tab sounds insane.

My main point however is whether just being popular (as Instagram definitely is) is enough to force those “weird” ux choices on people and make them “the norm”.
